Teaching has always been a passion for me in a similar way as creating art. My teaching career started while I was still in college in my hometown. To help me pay for college, I taught bilingual classes to elementary students. I became fascinated with such noble profession and I realized that helping a human being grow and succeed is very rewarding. One of my greatest strengths as an art instructor is meeting each student’s unique needs by developing a personal understanding of each of them while at the same time appreciating how every single one of them shapes the group as a whole (which has its unique personality as well). I believe that teaching is a multifaceted human activity for it entails a wide range of teaching approaches, interactions, planning, resources, but most importantly student motivation. Instilling art appreciation and creativity are always present in my lesson plans. My goal is to challenge students to help them become great artists.
