Art classes for preschoolers.
In our art classes for preschoolers our mission is to encourage the children to enhance and explore their natural creativity through an art-rich curriculum that includes drawing, painting and collage. At this age, children are still developing their fine motor skills. Through eye-hand coordination exercises, we help improve the way they transfer on paper what they are seeing.
At this age, the kids are like sponges and they absorbe all information we provide. We teach preschoolers how to construct forms using simple shapes, apply basic art elements and concepts that will enrich their art projects.
We help kids learn to use different media and techniques using watercolor, tempera paint, oil pastels and markers.
By using these media in fun-filled lessons, we look to ignite children’s imagination and creative exploration. Our aim is to nurture a love for art that touches the hearts and souls of our students. Above all, we value the artistic process over the end product!
Our on-going weekly classes run from September to end of May. You can enroll any time if we have space in the class.
You do not need to wait for the beginning of the month to join one of our preschool art classes (we will pro-rate tuition if that is the case).
The students will take advantage of our small teacher/ratio having a quality instruction while developing a love for art. If you do not find space in the class you want, please register in the waiting list, and we will contact you with some options.
The tuition covers FOUR art classes which meet once a week. There is a $29 registration fee every quarter in September, December and March.
We will provide all the art material for the art class you will have only to bring the student.
You can start classes any time! Our 2017-2018 cycle starts in September to end of May.
