Jason Daves M.A. and B.A. in Digital Art and Fine Art
What makes a great teacher? We tend to remember our favorite (and least favorite) teachers. For me, the best was humble, organized, passionate, and took risks for student gain.
From Oregon, I attended The School of The Art Institute of Chicago, and DePaul where I studied Fine Art and Digital Art. My background includes painting, animation, and sculpture. I’ve produced visual assets and animation for various companies, and much more to feed that inner need to produce that artists have. Things I enjoy are books, animation, computer games, and books. Did I mention books?
The interests I have in teaching were born from great teachers, but also the natural result of the cultivation of curiosity and understanding. I’m interested in the individual pursuits of each student which I think takes the ability to listen and observe.
