I’ve worked as an art teacher both in Korea and in Austin, and I have also illustrated several children’s books. I graduated with a B.F.A. in Fine Arts from Sungshin Women’s University in Seoul, South Korea. I love teaching students and watching them grow in their artistic skills while developing their creative minds.
I teach art in a way that helps people learn to communicate better, express ideas better, and understand how to think and see things from an artist’s perspective.
I want my students to be challenged so that they can work hard to realize their own potential. I also want them to learn that there are different ways of seeing things in everyday life so that they can grow the creativity they already have.
I can give them tools for how to express their creativity and how to use it effectively.
