I am a retired art teacher of 27 years, and I got my B.F.A in Studio Art from UT Arlington. I love teaching art because I enjoy seeing others realize that they are capable of creating things that they did not know they were able to. There is a magic that happens when creativity develops in a shared space and creative people come together. I love to inspire those feelings in others, to show others techniques that develop into skills.
In addition to my love of teaching I am married to Dan. I have three grown daughters and seven grandchildren, ages three to twelve. I am passionate about travel, learning, reading and art making.
