I am an Austin based designer and artist. I have a Bachelor’s Degree from Texas Tech University with a dual focus on apparel design and studio art. Prior to my college education, I received 8 years of classical arts training and participated in many local exhibitions including the Exibit of Young Artists in The Museum of the Southwest. Post graduation, I was a substitute teacher for all ages, specializing in art, theater, design, and students with special needs. I also enjoyed volunteering with a local Girl Scout troop, helping the members complete badges in arts, STEM and interpersonal skills.
Born and raised in Texas, I take great pride in participating in the local art community. As someone who was fortunate enough to have received an early education in art, it is a privilege to pass along that knowledge and opportunity to a new generation of young artists. I look forward to witnessing the growth of my students, in skill, confidence and expression through art.
