Alexis Eastburn – B.F.A. in Media Arts and Animation

I remember always drawing as a kid. I was always inspired by movies like Disney or Pixar of how they created such beautiful stories with their artwork to connect with so many people on a deeper level. Now with my bachelors in Media Arts and Animation, my focus in art is trying to tell a story, whether it’s through a pencil and paintbrush on paper, or through the new art form of digital drawing and animation. The reason I became a teacher, was to share my passion for story-telling and to help my students create their own stories and amazing artworks to share with everyone. I love seeing the excitement my students get when they share their stories and see how they learn and grow in their craft. My mission is to give them the tools to share their unique view of the world or to bring their own fantastical stories to life.
