I received my Bachelor’s from the Maine College of Art and Design, where I found a deep interest in figurative painting and abstraction. It was a joy to be a part of a thriving community of creatives as it reminded me of my time making art with my mom, sister, great-aunt, and grandmother. Even today, I spend many hours painting with my husband in our studio. We cherish the impact the arts have had in our lives.
Art is my path to understanding a challenging world while sharing my appreciation for life’s beauty. I believe that creating art is an effective and crucial tool for building confidence in student artists of all ages. I am thrilled to join Art Plus Academy teachers.
