I received my B.S. in Computer Animation at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida. Both a traditional and digital artist, I have been practicing professionally for over a decade and have experience with drawing, painting, printmaking, 2D and 3D animation, 3D modeling and even dabble in jewelry making. I’ve worked on feature films and video games. After moving to Austin, I chose to switch from working in the entertainment industry to selling my own work locally.
As a teacher, I’m a firm believer that anyone can learn to draw, and it’s time and a desire to learn, not talent, that gets you to your goal. What that goal is, what story a person wants to tell, how they want to express themselves, is unique to everyone. My job is to give someone the tools to reach those goals and build their confidence.
I’ve never stopped working on my skills, and joined Art + Academy originally as a student looking to expand my repertoire and meet fellow artists in my new home. Years later, I’ve met a lovely community of teachers who are both passionate and great at what they do, and I’m thrilled to be one of them.
